Are you talking about the student activity fee? At our APS school that covers field trips and class parties. I’m happy to pay $25 once at the start of the year and not have to send in small checks each time

| Washington-Liberty has class dues that pay for various events. The dues are optional, although if you can afford them and your kid is going to take part in the activities, why wouldn't you pay? And above all, why would you complain? |

At my school throughout the year they asked for about $100 for various field trips. One of them was Chuck-E-Cheese.
This year, I have seen a $15 fee for robotics class. |
