What does a woman who constantly interjects 'Well DH said...' do post-divorce

Anonymous
I'm curious if anyone has friends like this and if they pivoted post-divorce?

i.e. We could be talking about great fall drinks and she'll say 'Well Mark thinks that apple cider is the best because...'.

Seriously? If a woman is contemplating divorce she doesn’t give a damn what her husband thinks.

Yeah, I know women like this. I just tend to think they have low self-esteem and struggle to share their own opinions for fear of ridicule.

Yes I wonder about this too. Some men do this too

The point is if she's spent the last 5-15 years 'channeling' her husband like a medium, so much so that it turns into a personality trait - do you exorcise the personality with the husband?

She will start talking about what her new BF or crush thinks.

There is a whole chekhov short story about this. It's called "the Darling". Its hilarious and also wonderful.
