This is the type of gift I would love and actually use.

Yeah, gourmet balsamic vinegar can be expensive so I don't always buy it for myself but it's amazing. A little drizzle with good quality olive oil and my salads are delicious. It's tangy and sweet and thicker than the cheap ones. It gets everyone in my house eating a lot more greens and enjoying them.

I would much prefer oil and vinegar to a manicure set or beauty items with fragrance since I'm allergic to so many. I don't want Trader Joe's junk food and have too many tote bags. So yeah, for me they beat out almost everything else on this thread.

How do you know what size to bring?

Skip the undergarments. Try other items they or other stores like them sell, e.g. sleep mask. If you don't find anything, how about a gift card from there?

You absolutely can't bring a gift card to a "favorite things" party. That's counter to the whole point of the party.

Please. Yes you can, and people do.

Get a VSecret gift card if you can find anything in the store under 20 bucks

No one has gone to VS since the 90's.
You really can't just bring a gift card (and I am normally a big fan of gift cards). Opt out of the party if you're gonna bring that.

Why opt out? It isn't the 90s -- gift cards are ok to bring in 2020s. You can put it in a box and wrap it up if you want.

The whole point of the party is to share your favorite things. I can’t help you if you can’t see why gift cards are inappropriate here.

What if gift cards are someone's favorite? Why can't they bring gift cards? Some of you people are snobbish and don't know hoto receive a gift. That's sad.

There's nothing wrong with gift cards, but its a lazy attempt at this kind of party.

I wouldn't bring a gift card, that's lame. If someone is dying to bring undergarments buy a Hanky Panky thong and be done with it.

I mean, that’s one of my actual favorite things and they have universal sizing (though probably not plus size) so I think that’s a great idea!

You're the snob, just above it all. It's not about spending $20 on a gift card it's about putting a little thought into it. You could bake your favorite cookies and it would go over a lot better than the grocery store check out gift card.

That PP just can't understand that the point of the party is to bring what she would buy with the gift card. She doesn't just love a gift card, she loves the things she can buy with it. So bring that. Not sure why this has to be spelled out for some.

They aren’t any different than any other pair of Bluetooth headphones except they are flat so you can sleep on your side comfortably. Do you think air pods cause brain cancer? Because they are exactly the same except the shape.
