Ha no. We bought our house for double that amount and the sellers said their basement had never had moisture issues when it became obvious after closing that strategically placed furniture where there were leaks and painted over the areas that had been wet.
At our closing the realtor (Long and Foster), was bragging about how she had been strategic in marketing the home to make it more acceptable to a broader range of buyers.
