What are the selection criteria and who is on committee? Without the info, it's comes down to who knows who. |
Sweet lady! Is not a matter of your “imaginary” wife. The fact is that Brazilians are South Americans, very simple. And they have no problem being included on that. Sorry your imaginary does not have a grasp of reality. Again, expand your horizons. Last time I checked Geography was not that hard! 😉 |
Most likely coach recommendations. |
Standard tournament selection protocol: 1st place=4 spots 2nd place=3 spots 3rd place= 2 spots 4th et al= 1 spot & 1 spot |
My boy competed in the 2010s. For the most part the matches were competitive from what I saw. Most of the kids are in the MLSN and Ecnl environment, and likelihood that If a coach recruit them is becuase they were ballers. Great tournament , and agree about entrance fees. A multi day one would make more sense . |
No one is saying Brazilians are not South Americans. Put down the drink. |
Sweet lady, YOU were saying exactly that. Good, you got it now! And I don't drink. I'm happy to keep the new info/data flowing your way. ![]() |
But your kid was seen by more colleges and pro teams than ever before |
What age group do those scouts typically focus on? U10 and above? U12 and above? |
Mainly U8 and occasionally U9. They like to identify talent early and bring them into their professional academies before bad habits are built. By U10 its too late and habits are ingrained. |
Crazy how so many people don't know this. If the Youth National Director of early stage development and comprehensive evaluation hasn't contacted you yet it's game over. Time to focus on a trade. |
What scouts? |
Hahaha, good one |
A lot of wisdom in this post. But a bit of oversimplification. YNDs have regional scouts and networks that promote those kids and put them on radars too. So it doesn’t have to be the YND directly. |
We don't speak of the network aloud. I heard it gets you disappeared 👀 |
