| I don't know, but keep getting it tested, and if it stays low, you may have an ectopic. |
| How many DPO? My friend's first beta was a 5 and that baby is now 2 years old. It's gotta start somewhere.... |
| It's not about the first number, what's important is whether or not it doubles every 48 hours. So keep getting tested and if HCG keeps doubling should be fine. |
| Probably not, but maybe you are a bit earlier than you think? |
| I don't know what dpo means....its four weeks since my period started and maybe I ovulated somewhere around August 2. |
Everyone says this but it's not true. The first number is the most predictive. |
Says who? Not my RE. |
Only if you know when ovulation/ conception roughly occured. |
| My first beta - at 10 DPO - was 7. My doctor told me not to get my hopes up. It rose really slowly, but it kept getting higher (I was tested every 6 days). That baby is now a very stubborn 3 yo. |
DPO means days past ovulation. Do you know when you ovulated? The time that has elapsed since conception means a lot more than the date of your last period (even though the doctors like using that date). |
| The first beta was 8. I didn't have a second because I think it's a miscarriage. HPT says negative. I ovulated August 1 |
| My first beta at 4 weeks (two days after expected period / prob about 14 days post ovulation) was 128. At that level, I did a hpt day before blood draw and could barely detect the line. Rates more than doubled and I'm currently 15 weeks along. |
HPT is sensitive at 30, so 128 is a solid line. |
That's not true at all. |
