Should I be wearing eye liner?

In my mid-40s. My daily makeup routine for the office is tinted moisturizer, blush, mascara, and lipstick. Should I be wearing eye liner as part of a basic day look? I have brown eyes and dark brown hair. If I need liner, I presume a dark brown?

I always wear liner and was recently wondering when I should stop. It seems there comes a point when eyeliner looks bad when you're too and....

I'm just more into a natural look and think women look more beautiful when they're not too made up, so I say skip it.

OP here. This is definitely the look and style I am going for. Wearing makeup at all on a regular basis is still pretty new to me. Trying to find the right 'natural me, just a little help to stay looking OK' look.

I'm south Asian and always wear a little eyeliner. I think if you don't make it all crazy cat eye lines and just do a quick sweep, it looks nice.

MAkeup does not have to make you look like you are super done up. A think eyeliner line is perfectly okay as an everyday look.

I am 42 and line the top lash line with a dark brown pencil (blonde with hazel eyes). I think it makes me look more awake and accentuates my eyes, which are nice. I don't feel "made up" at all, just polished and put together.

I am a complete 'eye-liner freak'. I would never leave my house without the eye liner. I am not much fond of make-up but I always wear eyeliner. It accentuates my eyes and makes me look fresh. I prefer a black liner.

I have small deep set eyes and short lashes. Eyeliner is a critical part of my makeup routine on all but the most casual days, because it makes my eyes "pop". The other things I cannot live without -- mascara and undereye concealer.

Why don't you stop wearing makeup?

It's funny, I think it depends on your eye shape and coloring. I know women who look much better with only mascara and some who look better with eyeliner and mascara

No, it makes you look like you're trying to be young. You're clearly not. I promise, everyone knows.

I think lack of defined eyes makes a woman look old. I think eyeliner is more important than mascara.
