| We only have child care for one night and can't go far ... suggestions on where to go? |
| Landsdowne Resort near Leesburg - http://www.lansdowneresort.com/. Very nice place and they have romance packages. |
| Ashby Inn in Paris, VA near Middleburg or Seven Gables Inn in St. Michaels (or Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michaels if your budget is higher). |
| We love the Brampton Inn but they might require two nights in a weekend. We also recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton and got a very good weekend rate b |
| Washington, VA. There is an inn there that is way more affordable than The Inn at Little Washington. |
| As it gets further into the winter, like late January/February the beach(OC/Rehoboth) is nice and affordable. |
Ew. Not my idea of a getaway. |
| Goodstone Inn in Middleburg (or Salamander). Antrim 1844 in Maryland. |
| Poplar Springs Inn |
Antrim is lovely and is perfect for an overnight. The restaurant is great. Gettysburg is not far if you have some time either day. |

B&B in St. Michaels

Just got back from Rehoboth. It was really nice. Stayed at the Bellmoor and walked on the beach!
Great restaurants, too. And if you're into a couples' spa day, try "Bad Hair Day" -- really lovely Aveda spa. |
| Hillbrook Inn in WV. It is very pretty in the snow. We toured a bunch of wineries too. |
Nothing at all good about OC. Travel further south to VB instead |
I would put VB on par with OC. Nothing really special about either one. |
