DD is well rounded, including in the tush department - hard to find pants that fit and don't gap at the waist - any suggestions?

Buy pants that fit her hips/tush. Have a tailor take them in at the waist (~$7-10) |
| Honestly, I think she needs to just wrap her head around the fact that she needs to try on like 20 different brands and styles to see what works, and then buy three of whatever she finds. Try a department store where there will be a wider variety. It may even be worth your time to use a free personal shopper at Macys or Nordstrom.. |
| Talbots |
Dear God, do not take your teenage daughter to Talbots. She may need to buy pants in the Misses department instead of juniors. As a pp stated, she just needs to try on a ton of styles/brands to see what works. |
This might be too close to the Talbots suggestion, but I have the opposite problem and absolutely can't fit into Eddie Bauer or LL Bean. So you might try those

+1000 This is exactly what I have to do. My niece is also starting to have to do this as well. Find a tailor you like. Buy pants fit everywhere else and have the tailor fix the waste. |
| Curvy style from Old Navy. |
| uniqlo has some i like |
Wrap your head around the OP is trying to save some time and find a few brand suggestions. OP, I'd post in the fashion forum, b/c you don't need to be told the obvious. |

Clown pants might work. They're pretty baggy.
Or maybe MC Hammer pants? |
| One of the varieties of curvy Levis works for me. Most stores have different cuts of pants and jeans, including a curvy version. |
| Forever 21 |

Lucky brand jeans
Gap bootcut - a lot of bootcuts are made for curvier figures to balance out hips Any store that has a curvy fit And yes, tailoring |
Bootcut is the hem style, like flare, straight, skinny. It has nothing to do with the thigh/hips and buttocks. |
