His name's not Hootie. And he's been country for a while now.
I loved something he said in an interview. He used to tell his son that he could be anything he wanted in America, except for President or a country music artist. Now neither one is true. |

When they were forming their band in college, they named it after two guys on their dorm hallway--one they called Hootie, and the other they called the Blowfish. It's the name of the band, not the guys in the band.
