Me too no idea! I mean when I compare a Hollywood stars specially men to the ones of the past who are gorgeous like James, Dean, Gary Cooper. Ryan Gosling is average.I’m sure he’s super nice and talented, but he is not a good looking man.

He’s good enough looking then you add in all the charm, and the types of movies he picks that are centered on female fantasies of how men should act. Like Leo in titanic.

I personally don't know anyone who finds him attractive or even knows who he is other than yet another 'star'. He is fine. Not ugly enough for a thread.
For the life of me I cannot tell the difference between him and that other Ryan. One married Blake Lively and the other Eva Mendes. Or one is from Notebook and the one has the phone thingy.

He's a butterface. A paper bagger. He sometimes has a hot body but he's got totally uneven eyes, a crooked nose, weak chin, thin little lips and generally not good looking facially. I'm not a body person who cares about 6 pack abs, so it feels like a constant gaslighting this man is pushed as hot while looking like a weasel.

The Notebook character he played made women want him…the character. And then he did bigger films and many interviews promoting the films, providing a chance to showcase his personality and charm. He’s adorable in interviews.

Jamie Dornan is another actor whose real life personality and charm make him more attractive than he really is. Go watch clips of his interviews on Graham Norton. His Irish storytelling is hot.

I think he's attractive, I am not attracted to him. Too much hyper theater kid energy, a tendency to get very smirky. Justin Timberlake has similar issues (is it a Mousketeer thing?) but I think Gosling is talented in a more interesting way than JT, so while JT really annoys me, I have enjoyed Gosling in a lot of movies. But I can enjoy an actor's performance without wanting the bang then, as I'm not super basic.
