| 50+ women recommend your eyeliner, I am looking for a smooth appearance and application over these aging eyelids. I would prefer a pencil, but am willing to try new products. |
| I would try the gel eyeliner from Bobbi Brown -- it's easy to apply and stays put. I prefer it over the pencil because it's easier to apply once you get the hang of it. |
| For the same reason, I also like the powder eyeliner by Trish McEvoy. |
| I use a creamy eyeliner with a liner brush. I like Smashbox brand. |
| Love Urban Decay glide-on eye pencils. I get mine at Sephora, but I've also seen them at Macy's. |
+2. Chantaceille also has a great eyeliner pen. |

OT- but what is the purpose of eyeliner? What is it trying to mimic? I understand that mascara makes ones lashes longer and more visible, other make up adds color to faces and covers up blemishes, lipstick enhances the color of ones lips and add moisture. But, I have never understood the purpose of eyeliner. What is it trying to hide or showcase or enhance?

| Prefer powder. It is hard to see and control the pencil. Urban Decay. |
makes the eyes "pop" if applied properly |
Allow us older adults to wear what we deem appropriate. You may continue to ponder the meaning of life's purpose for eyeliner on your own.
|
| I don't use an eyeliner. I am 58 and have never used ow owned an eyeliner. |

Best eyeliner ever--Two Faced:
http://www.sephora.com/3-way-lash-lining-tool-P374934?SKUID=1442193&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=1442193&om_mmc=Google{adtype}&_requestid=42976&cm_mmc=us_search-_-GG-_-{adtype}-_-{keyword} Seriously amazing! It's a liquid eyeliner that goes on like a smooth marker (not goopy like other liquid liners). It's true black and lasts until you remove it. Love this stuff! |
| OP - thanks to all for your recommendations, and to those who do not wear it, my apologies that you took time to read the thread. |
Thank you for taking my post seriously.
