+1 How is it people do not know this? You've downloaded an app whose creators have been caught spying on its users. Millions of idiots have downloaded it. I guess ignorance is truly bliss and people are sheep. But hey, if other kids are doing it, it's probably okay.

I work in social media advertising. FB, google, etc track you, have a profile, and hit you with targeted ads. Within the next 5 years, the algo will be so advanced that they'll be able to show you the exact right ad at the exact right time where you're almost 100% guaranteed to buy. The only way to avoid it is to basically live off the grid.
