I hate the Pioneer Woman's voice

I bet she cried herself to sleep last night, knowing that you don't respect her.

Agreed. She's a ninny.

I'm still trying to figure out why Trisha Yearwood has a show? Isn't she a home wrecker?

I think the New Yorker had a big article about her.

Her baked beans recipe includes a can of premade baked beans. I couldn't watch after that.

Not all vegetarians are vegetarian because of the principles. Some are for health reasons alone. Maybe she was one of them.

I always thought she sounded like she was on some kind of medication, like Zoloft, or something. SHe sounds like she's a little bit stoned, speaks kind of slow, nothing ever upsets her.

Felt sorry for the kids on that episode where they were all excited to go to the grocery store and pick up a tube of pre-made biscuits and some grated cheese. Made you wonder if they didn't get out much.

Your world is unimaginably small.

Her recipes are really bad. They are for people who don't know how to assemble a sandwich.

Oh God, the crazy Pioneer hater is going to find this thread.

It's cute you think there's one "hater."

I literally googled 'I hate Pioneer Woman's voice' and found out I am not the only one lol

I don't hate her. I don't care about the controversy over her husband's wealth. I've made some of her recipes, and I liked them. I enjoy that she posts "in-progress" photos on her blog. I know it sounds weird, but I like seeing the pictures of the chopped ingredients, the food cooking in the pan, the assembling of the dish, etc.

However, she is the least aspirational "aspirational" celebrity blogger out there. There is nothing about her lifestyle and aesthetic that appeals to me, other than of course having lots of money. Other celeb bloggers are beautiful, wear gorgeous clothes, have adorable kids, fun-seeming lives, cool activities, funny stories (yes, I know it's for show and none of it is "real" but bear with me). PW is average looking, with average kids, a house that, while yes, rich people live there, isn't appealing or decorated in a beautiful or interesting style, a husband who comes across on the blog like a petulant toddler, lives in the middle of nowhere, no good stories to tell. I can't believe anyone would find her aspirational. She's a regular woman who found success, so good for her. Aspirational? Nah.

Pioneer woman annoys me also. Her food ideas are good. The only thing is her voice. Besides that she’s a nice woman!

She taught me a better way to make a white sauce no hate.
