| Pretty sure Chanel doesn't sell t-shirts with their logo on it. |
NP It's a great saying to make her point. Why should people care about kids brand labels? A lot of kids are more in tune with that stuff than their parents. They choose flashy and flexing styles that mortify adults but kids see it as cool. |

I go to chanel often and I can’t recall seeing kid t shirts.
I may think it is fake or think nothing or think it has Cs resembling Chanel. There are kids who are obviously rich. If they wore it, I would still think they are rich. I have a friend who lives in Manhattan and her daughter has a friend who models and the mom models. They wear a lot of high end luxury brands. The family also lives in a one bedroom apartment. |
| I hate to admit it but I would notice and I would care. I’d think it was a gross display. I wouldn’t want my kid to be friends with that kid. I’m only admitting this on an anonymous forum and wouldn’t show it in real life. |
| Nobody cares! |
| Probably fake, kind of trashy, but ultimately not something to make a huge deal out of. |
| I work at a private preschool and have seen kids wearing expensive brands, no big deal. However a preschooler came in this spring with a t-shirt that said "[Well known expensive private school] Class of 2038" and I did think that was a bit much. We've had many kids move on to private schools (including that specific one) over the years but I'd ever seen anything like that. |

Pretty surprised with many responses here.
Personally, I simply don’t like clothing with prominent brand logo or name. But that is my preference. Would not ever judge someone else nor wonder whether it is real or fake. How does this matter to a grownup? Judging the child and the family nonetheless? On a different note, I am first generation immigrant. My kids are petite and skinny. To find something with nice fit, I order from Spain and Italy. On surface, their clothes might look like something very expensive (I was even approached and heard comments that their clothes look like something from expensive catalog). In reality, they are quite cheap, but even if they were expensive, how is that anybody’s business? I buy it because I like the fit. There is nothing more or less to the story. Am I missing a different point here? |
Why did you feel the need to brag about your skinny kids? |
| I don’t think Chanel even makes kids clothes. What you are talking about is probably some cheap $20 tshirt with Chanel logo screen printed on it |
| A quick google search tells me that Chanel does not make kids clothes. |
|
It's a fake, my dear. |
| I wouldn’t notice. I would notice if the kid looked cute and her clothes fit well and were good quality and seasonally appropriate. If it was a jacket in cool weather I might make of the mother or father that they were a magician. |
You are so f@cking tedious. |
m Weird. I’d just assume that they’re either trying to get the kid hyped about it or are hoping to connect with other families who’ll be attending. This doesn’t seem like a weird thing to me. It’s just a shirt. But then my kid went to an expensive private school- with a ton of financial aid. |
