She's done some theater and is well known in Broadway circles but has little film work to her name and most people think of her as a character actress who is past her prime.

She is currently in a Julian Fellowes ensemble show where she is billed on the same level as the least talented Gummer-Streep sister.

I mean, what does A-list even mean?

She has two Emmys, two Tonys, and a Grammy. How many do you have?

DP. I'm just trying to understand why anyone would care about the political opinions of someone who makes a living playing pretend.

I don't especially care about her opinions, but she's entitled to have them and to express them, regardless of her occupation.

Sure! And we're entitled to respond, and to judge, and to decide that she is a garbage anti-semite.

I'm not ready to say "garbage antisemite" but she sure is fine with sacrificing millions of Jews for her cause.
She can say what she wants and eat or not eat when she wants, but we are perfectly entitled to pan her performance.

Yes, you are entitled to your opinions, just as she is entitled to hers. But more people will take note of hers, as evidenced by this thread.

She has the right to voice an opinion.

So do flat earthers.

The Law and Order guest spot is SO overrated.
I do really like her as Miranda in SATC (never seen AJLT), but I wouldn't call her A List.

Sure! A lot of people took notice of what Hamas did, too - do you think that means people were swayed to think they were right?

You know what? I guess that's a bad example, given the 1000 page thread in Politics of people abhorrently saying that Hamas was right.

She does not have a cult following in either platform. She lost badly when she ran for office - and her storyline is the most loathed in the SATC reboot world.

I've been extremely saddened by the US government's support of the killing of thousands of Palestinians, but a hunger strike by some C list actress isn't not going to change anything. Even if it was an A list actor, it wouldn't change anything.

There's too much money at stake, and no one on the ground, including Arab states, cares very much about the fate of this long-oppressed people.

Gaza’s elected hamas a s continue to shield them, using their hospitals as humans shields. I’m so sick of the hamas apologists. Gaza needs to be returned to Israel.

+1. Exactly. She has no following.

Well, she has a publicist. Maybe that's who alerted DCUM to her stunt, since we otherwise would never have known or cared.

Anonymous wrote:I always find it strange when LGBTQ people are pro Hammas. Honestly, you'd be dead if you were there.

Here’s what she actually said. Listen to it.

She is repeating Hamas lies.

And why hasn’t she visited? I mean before all this?

Why didn’t an openly lesbian feminist offer Hamas - a designated terrorist organization akin to the Islamic State/ISIS - her support, and come visit Hamas in Gaza?

Is it maybe because Hamas would gladly cut off her Infidel, evil-lesbian head?

Yeah. I'm as gay as they come and the eager rush of certain "queer" activists to champion Palestine is weird given that they throw gays off roofs in Gaza. Yep, definitely happened, definitely done by Hamas. Palestinians put Hamas into power. Hamas has high approvals in Gaza. Palestinians both in Gaza and West Bank have consistently and repeatedly promoted and supported staunchly anti LGBT+ and anti womens' rights regimes. And of course nowhere in the Middle East has any form of decent gay rights except, of course, Israel.

And people screaming and ranting about genocide need to take a long hard look at the meaning of the word genocide and then at Hamas' own political charter and what they did on October 7. IDF, for example, doesn't go house to house killing families and violating women and dehumanizing them. Heck, even IDF gives advance warnings of where they are going to bomb. Something Hamas doesn't do.

The progressive left has really collapsed, intellectually, ethically, and morally, over their fetish for Hamas and Palestine. It's fascinating to watch, even if somewhat sad.

Lesbian here, NP. This is devastatingly accurate.

Another! Thank you for writing this.

I'd really love for someone to interview some of the LGBTQ supporters of Palestine/Hamas and ask them directly how

they can support a regime that executes gay people. It truly boggles my mind.

Listen to what she says. She's focused on civilians. https://www.tiktok.com/@middleeasteye/video/7306421029822418208

I won't be going to TikTok, but if she wants an immediate ceasefire, she is clearly doesn't understand or care about the dangers Hamas continues to present to both Israeli and Palestinian civilians. She is just doing the trending thing because her vanity demands it. If she may have something to say about the Jewish civilians murdered, abducted, tortured, and raped on October 7, or about the Israeli men, women, and children continuing to be tortured and raped, that might make her less of a hypocrite.

She wanted to announce her little pro-Hamas stunt to as many people as possible.

She's using her pro-terrorist pseudo woke BS as an excuse to get attention and enjoy her eating disorder. Good luck to her.
