It's from Eretz Nehederet, which is an Israeli sketch show similar to SNL and heavy on social and political satire. They do some sketches in English when the characters are supposed to be Americans or Europeans. There have been some especially pointed English-language sketches in recent weeks: https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=588438435&rlz=1C1ONGR_enUS1071US1071&tbm=vid&q=erets+nehederet&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiCipiosfuCAxXhMlkFHVf6CWsQ8ccDegQIKBAD&biw=1280&bih=593&dpr=1.5 |

She is free to say whatever she wants.
On the other hand, all of Hollywood is free to never, ever hire this vile antiSemite for anything ever again! |
These antics are always about getting PR for careers. Remember when she ran for public office and was resoundingly destroyed? If you allow celebs (like the OP who posted this) to get attention for such antics, it will continue. If you ignore, it will go away |
I think she’s moved on to politics, or politics adjacent. |
She has the right to voice an opinion. |

A list? No, I'm sorry. She's most famous for a niche television show with a cult following. She has an Emmy... for a guest starring role on Law & Order: SVU. She's done some theater and is well known in Broadway circles but has little film work to her name and most people think of her as a character actress who is past her prime.
She is currently in a Julian Fellowes ensemble show where she is billed on the same level as the least talented Gummer-Streep sister. I mean, what does A-list even mean? |
I think you’re supposed to put “lol” or a smiley face when you’re being sarcastic. Otherwise someone might think you are serious. |
She has two Emmys, two Tonys, and a Grammy. How many do you have? |
I have a Grammy
And all that plus a dollar might have the value to purchase a small coffee at McDonald's |
DP. I'm just trying to understand why anyone would care about the political opinions of someone who makes a living playing pretend. |
So do flat earthers. |
I don't especially care about her opinions, but she's entitled to have them and to express them, regardless of her occupation. |
Sure! And we're entitled to respond, and to judge, and to decide that she is a garbage anti-semite. |
Unfortunately, celebrity hands the people who have it a megaphone. Also unfortunately, the public does doesn't have the critical thinking skills to consider whether celebrities speak with any intellectual qualifications. |
