DC yes, MOCO not really with the exception of Holton/Landon. Maybe Bullis, depending on who you ask. I can’t recommend one private in PG County I would send my kid to.

Just send your kid to the publics honestly. I live in Crownsville in AA County and I originally sent my oldest kid to private when they started middle school because I heard bad things about our assigned middle and high school (Old Mill Middle School South and Old Mill High School). After being underwhelmed with the private schools, I transferred my oldest to OMMSS and have had a very positive experience with it so far. The only complaint is the commute to Old Mill is 45 minutes, while three other high schools in the county are closer.

Thank you. I’m so sick of seeing threads about PG County privates in a subforum about public schools. Many of the OPs in the PG privates threads air their bigoted opinions about the public schools as well. If they don’t want to hear about public schools, maybe they should try the private school thread!

Well OP asked in the private schools forum but someone suggested for OP to ask in this forum because this forum is usually more welcoming and know more about PG schools, be it publics or privates. OP was even reluctant to ask here. So let help OP if we can.

Right! At one point there was a thread specifically for PG County that has since been merged with this one. To be honest, the private school board speaks more to mainstream privates vs. PG County so I understand both sides.
