I live near Navy Elementary and I know they have a very robust special education program. Many of the homes are in the 700-1.3 range but there are many townhomes right around 400k. Search the zip 22033, near Pender or Fair Oaks Hospital.

He is not in a special needs program, but he can be a handful at times. My younger son just completed evaluations with ChildFind and we have some concerns about Aspergers. I am currently waiting on an appt with a neuro, seeking a dx, but know parents with autistic children who are very pleased with the school and programs offered. |
| Auburn doesn't take everyone, they wouldn't take my daughter and she is very HF |
| Fairview Elementary in Burke has an autism program. Housing prices might fit your budget and the VRE is there for an easy commute. |
| +1 for Fairview. The principal is a former special ed teacher, and is wonderful! |
