I just don't find her sexy or attractive AT ALL. I am all about being young and liberated and even a little bit trashy. I grew up during the Britney and Christina frenzy and its not like those girls dressed classy or tasteful but they were at least attractive women. If your gonna disregard your talents and display your body at least be somewhat attractive.

I've seen Rumer Willis go topless as fashion statement/protest. I think it's kind of interesting (remember when "bloomers" were shocking) but that doesn't mean I'm going to do it.

Uh, I would hesitate to assume she has free will beyond the amount anyone else has. What she is doing is not new or actually ground breaking or even independent from societal norms. She is crafting responses through calculated public displays that push "boundaries" that do not actually exist as they used to. So she rides that line. It is what it is. So don't be too impressed. She is not so much liberated as she is just another entertainer who has staked a claim on a look and way of being. She is now a slave to that image and will have to do something pretty impressive to sustain it. She is probably actually smart enough to know she will need to reinvent herself to be viable down the line.

Totally agree with you, except being smart won't be enough. You also have to have at least some talent, which she does not have. Other chronic reinventers have more to work with--Madonna can dance, Gaga can sing. Miley can do neither.

The next step is going completely naked. Maybe a fig leaf on the muff. She is the Madonna and `Lil Kim of this generation. They did similar things. Remember Madonna`s Sex period. And Lil kim wore pasties to the grammys I think. Believe me Miley has been getting pounded since she was 13. Probably by much older men in order to make her career go. Young starlets in hollywood are passed around like hookas. I feel sorry for her. She will either OD on heroin in a few years, or clean up her act and adopt babies from Congo.

Miley is getting so much mileage out of this "girl gone bad" phase because she was once Hannah Montana the good girl.

She has turned so trashy for so long that I think she has pretty much obliterated whatever was left of her HM image. I don't know that people even associate her with that role anymore. Ironic, because that's where she got her start..
