The person you know that has been married the most times--how many times have they been married?

Mother's been married 6 times. People wonder why I am single.

My FIL has been married 5 times. None of his children, or exes, can bear him.

My brother has been married 3 times, twice to the same person. (First time around, they were only married for about a year; second time around, they're still going strong at 15 years... They were divorced for about 12 years in between.)

21:49 They are probably married and we don't even know it! What would that make us? Sister's in law? Guess we'll meet at the next family reunion!

A friend of mine has been married and divorced 4 times. She's talking about getting engaged to guy #5. (with whom she bought a house after about 6 months of dating.) I think they are both insane. She is 42.

I can't find one husband either, and I would personally think I'm less of a flight risk than someone who has been married 4 times by age 32, but hey.

My step grandfather married three times. His first two wives passed away. This was in the 50s and 60s, though, when mortality rates were higher.

I don't know anyone who has been married more than once. Pretty weird considering the divorce rate and all and no one is particularly religious. I'm in my forties.

I do know lots of people who have never been married...

Three times married, know quite a few.

I often feel like I am working on divorce #2. I freely admit I never should have married, either time. First was stupidity in Vegas, and the second we had a kid and I felt pressured into it. I am certain I would never marry again.

Stepdad has been married 4 times, 3 divorces prior to my mom. He's a narcissistic asshole.

Can you really call it marriage when it gets beyond three?

More like I want a big fancy party and a white dress.

This all sounds nuts to me, but they actually seem happy.

I understand that there are now many places where your brother can have a husband, but that husband has a wife? I suppose it's neither bigamy nor polyandry, but is it legal?

I'm sure it was a typo, but I can't figure out what was intended.

A partner at a law firm I used to work at was on his 4th wife. He was gross and his enormous belly jiggled every time he laughed.
