Your favorite “date night” restaurant at Hilton Head

Agreed... try The Grey in Savannah.

There is plenty of pretty good food in HH, but it is more Sea Shack or family vibe than date night vibe.

+1 on Savannah for restaurants. Absolutely worth the drive. The Grey is fabulous. And so is Husk. Save room
for ice cream at Leopolds.

And try to get there a couple of hrs before dinner to explore the wonderful shops and boutiques in the historic district, or stop by the Telfair Museum.

Nearly everything is walkable (weather and shoes permitting).

We have a place there.
Top of my list for great food:

Charlie’s Green Star (étoile vert)
or
Pomodori

I' ma fan of Skull Creek https://www.skullcreekboathouse.com/

The views can't be beaten- it's not fancy, but it's island life!

I was going to recommend that, but considering it’s a date night on vacation. I’m assuming they have people watching the kids and weights there can run 3 to 4 hours. Too much rolling the dice on that one.

Charlie’s has major consistency problem. You can have a fabulous meal there or an awful meal there, nothing in between always one or the other. I would much rather them just focus on putting out mediocre food, then you can at least manage expectations.

Pomodori is fine, but not for a date night. Zero atmosphere and really loud.

This is a fun place... but again, family oriented with booths, etc.
