Douglas Construction builds a lot of new homes in the area. My impression is they buy old homes, knock 'em down and build new, and market to prospective buyers during the construction process.

Castlewood Builders has built quite a few homes in the area, too. They tend to be hired by people who already own a home and want to knock it down and replace it with a new build, or who are buying a lot and want to have a new home constructed on it.

Stay away from Castlewood unless you want a poor result at excessive prices and working with inept stubborn people who put on a show as being kind but are far from it. They will work against you not as a team with you.

Our realtor forbid us from looking at any Paramount homes, and now that I live around the corner from one going in, I see why.
