Impromptu Sleepovers

Yikes. I bet you're fun at parties.

To the OP's question,

We allow them whenever we don't have weekend plans (which, if I'm honest, is somewhat rare). I prefer the kids stay at our house, but I'm also fine with letting DS stay over at his friends'. He only has 2 right now that are close enough to do sleepovers with, and he does them frequently. Just coordinate with parents to make sure it's alright ahead of time.

Our oldest is in fourth (the other two are first and prek, so too young) and we haven’t had a sleepover! He has tons of close friends who are over here/he’s over there all the time, but it’s just not big in our social circle. I’m starting to think it’s a blessing. It also seems in our social circle it’s more common with the girls.

If a kid needs special nighttime underwear then they aren’t ready for a sleepover in our house. I am not dealing with that.

I personally would be thankful that a kid was wearing a pull-up. Don’t be so judgmental.
