Yikes. I bet you're fun at parties. To the OP's question, We allow them whenever we don't have weekend plans (which, if I'm honest, is somewhat rare). I prefer the kids stay at our house, but I'm also fine with letting DS stay over at his friends'. He only has 2 right now that are close enough to do sleepovers with, and he does them frequently. Just coordinate with parents to make sure it's alright ahead of time. |
| Our oldest is in fourth (the other two are first and prek, so too young) and we haven’t had a sleepover! He has tons of close friends who are over here/he’s over there all the time, but it’s just not big in our social circle. I’m starting to think it’s a blessing. It also seems in our social circle it’s more common with the girls. |
