IYKYK Jewelry

Cartier is one of the most heavily advertised and marketed brands in the world. I think if you’ve ever read a magazine, “yk.”

These things are in significant tension with each other. At least at your budget "recognizable" is going to = "worn by everyone or easily replicated."

Yep, this. And people will probably assume it’s a knock-off.

I'm the pp here ^^

I'll add that if I were you, and this were my goal, I'd look at Cartier Panthère -- in your budget you could get a ring or maybe a bracelet. The ones with the little panther heads are very recognizable, and not many people wear them.

I think that Tiffany’s has some nice looking things that don’t scream brand. Plenty of people will recognize but not as much as the others you listed. I have the smile necklace that I love. People don’t really know it’s Tiffany’s. Also that lock bracelet they have is really pretty on (with the diamonds). Or that classic gold Elsa perreti bone cuff is amazing.

Is DeBeers still in business? DeBeers diamonds.

IYKYK … what it means to want extremely wealthy people to know that you are also extremely wealthy? Is this like a secret code or something? Clearly I don’t know lol but now I am curious

What about the Cartier Trinity line?

Just know I’m going to judge you for valuing brand over quality. A gold and diamond whatever is going to scream money regardless but you’d get a tiny nothing from Cartier for the same price as a beautiful larger design from a local jeweler. Wear something that has meaning to you.

I’ve been looking at monica rich kosann jewelry (which is sold at Bergdorfs btw, so it’s very IYNYK) which is beautiful and meaningful.

How does one tell a “DeBeers diamond” from any other rock? 🤣

Your budget is very low for what you’re asking.

Everyone and their aunt and their sister and their daughter wear this.

Exactly this. And we all “know” the obvious brands, so it is not unique at all to choose one of them. It’s much more interesting to go to the Diamond District in New York and select something of high quality.

You are not in the know, that much I know.
