Why wouldn't you do a NIPT?

I have gender disappointment as with 3 girls, I was hoping for a boy. What are chances they are wrong and it’s a boy?

I would be praying for a healthy child. I feel very sorry for this unwanted daughter and she will know how you feel. Have you considered terminating pregnancy?

I just SMH at gender disappointed people. Get a grip and celebrate your child.

I was thinking of acquiring four Golden Retrievers to have at once. It would be fun to watch them play together and grow up together.

But then everyone I talked to said that sounds ridiculous, why do you need four dogs? Nobody has four dogs about the same age. That's kind of over the top.

Why would you even suggest that? Horrible comment.

I’m a grown up fourth girl. not sure if my parents were hoping for another girl or not but growing up in a house full of girls was great, I absolutely love having three sisters and we are very close as adults.

Yeah it's amazing. When I finally got pregnant, I could not wrap my head around everyone asking us if we wanted a boy or a girl. Truly no preference.

If you're on your fourth I guess "having a healthy pregnancy and baby" isn't your one and only concern anymore.

Anecdotally, my cousin has 5 girls and their 6th was finally a boy. Another person I know had 5 boys and #7 was a girl. These are homeschooling quiverfull types.

I am 17 weeks, due end of May

Why didn’t you just do the blood test at 9 weeks?

Congratulations! I recently found out I'm having my fourth boy. Some disappointment but all that matters is that they're healthy, and once they're born it fades into the background

I don’t understand how people could have 4 kids under 5. No breastfeeding, no working, perhaps you can find something else to do after you are having babies.

Because she doesn't want another girl and this child bill know that she was a disappointment.

I have three girls. Hands down it’s amazing. But I would not go for a fourth - boy or girl. And if you have three girls you must know there is like a 1000% chance you’ll have another girl.

Love your babies.

I get it. I have 4 boys and always wanted a girl. It’s not that I didn’t want another boy, but rather that I was sad I wouldn’t experience having a daughter. For me, it got better after a few days to weeks of finding out. My boys were so excited they were getting another brother which helped a lot.

Yeah better to die than to be a disappointment

I have 5 golden retrievers about the same age. It is indeed fun. Go for it!

OP, I hope you’re ok.
