Think DS stopped wearing pajamas when he was 10 or 11.

Boxer shorts or underwear. Flannel pj pants for lounging.

My kids wear pj pants from the moment they get home from school until bedtime. Then they take the off and sleep in boxers.

Is that an American thing?

We're from Europe, and people who are close to me all wear pyjamas or nighties. Here when it's too warm, my son and daughter (teens) ditch their PJs and probably wear nothing, or next to nothing. Since we're not used to ice-cold A/C, we keep it at 78 upstairs. But when it gets cold, definitely PJs. And hot water bottles. We don't heat the house like an oven in the winter. Live with the seasons.

I think americans like everybody else sleep in alot of different things from pjs to nothing.

My 9 year old doesn’t even wear pajamas.

Ask your son. Mine has worn only boxers to bed for as long as I can remember now, definitely since mid elementary. In 9th grade and ever since he asked for several pairs of plaid pj pants but he wears them as pants, not to sleep.

Same. 13.

Just ask him what he wants to wear. He properly thinks he is too old for pajamas anyways.

DS (16) stopped wearing pajamas a long time ago, don't know what he wears now.

My DS hasn't worn pajamas for years. I am not sure he wears anything to bed anymore.
