Would you watch a "Seinfeld" reboot?

They would never do it so it's a moot point. I would rather rewatch the original than see an attempt at a reboot.

Wayne Knight? No he's alive and well.

They are all too old to be realistic parents of minors. I think Jerry’s youngest kid is 17. He was already older when he had them.

Also, some iconic shows are best left in the past. Look at the sex and the city reboot. Shows like satc, Seinfeld, friends all captured zeitgeist of their time that you can’t really recreate, and would definitely be harder to do in todays ultra sensitive environment.

I like the idea, but I would like to see them as kids in " pre-Seinfeld".. Imagine how weird/ nerdy they were.

I love Curb too.

Agreed. Watched a few episodes recently and was surprised by how much I disliked the characters and plots. I think the humor was just of a particular time and place, and really can't be recreated.

So Seinfeld is played by Alec Baldwin?

Elaine is a successful self-help guru married to a simpering loser, Stew, who is wildly rich. She lives on the UWS.
Kramer still lives in the same apartment.
And George is the henpecked husband of a woman who by turns adores and loathes him, Karen. They live in Douglaston, Queens, with three bratty teenagers. He always wants to cheat but is foiled.

I watch the show all the time and would love to see a single season of the show set now to catch up with all of them. I wouldn't want it to go on and on but a few episodes would be enough to catch up with everyone.

From where things ended -
They got out of their jail sentences on a technicality.
The Jerry show was shelved yet again.
They group did a talk show circuit to talk about their experience and how they have been reformed. But of course they have not.

Fast forward a couple years -
Jerry has landed some roles in movies so isn't around as much. He is engaged but is going to break it off.
Elaine has moved over to website content director and is now married to Puddy. She is pregnant.
George is now running the foundation that Susan's parents set up because he couldn't find any other job and he threatened to expose a secret lesbian affair of the Susan's mother. He is engaged but this time he is sending invites in email. No glue and it's cheaper.
Kramer won the lottery but he and Newman went in together on buying the ticket so they are splitting the money. They are going to develop a mini golf course.

Present day -
Jerry is married and has twins with his wife. They are based in New york.
Elaine and Puddy have split up and got back together many times. They have one kid and she has a surprise pregnancy. There is always some hint that the first kid is really Jerry's. She manages social media content and online news.
George's wife was promoted and is the VP of some company so he became a stay at home dad to their 3 kids.
Kramer and Newman still run their mini golf course but Newman is now married and Kramer has a live in girlfriend and has a couple step kids.

OP, did you watch the fiction reboot episodes they did on Curb?

Jerry would never get married and have kids

Make Elaine the star and I am in.

Jerry Seinfeld is 69. WTF would he have "two cherubic kids"?

Truly funny comedy would not be allowed in today's climate. That's why all our good TV is now very serious serial dramas. ("Not that there's anything wrong with that!") But you can't do good comedy right now.

Yeah I want to know more about Jerry and George growing up together. Kind of a young Sheldon spin-off. Young jerry.

I'd love an episode about the Soup Nazi and Sue Ellen Mischke. The Soup Nazi came back to NY and was hired to manage a Victoria's Secret store. Sue Ellen Mischke, meanwhile, after an intervention started attending Bra-less Wonder Anonymous. However, she was struggling with it and was looking for a sign.
One day, she was shopping at Victoria's Secret and picked out a top. Her conversation with the Soup Nazi would go something like this.

Soup Nazi: No top for you!
Sue Ellen: Thanks God almighty. They are free at last.
