Specifically I am trying to teach my teenage boy how to carry and keep track of his stuff.
School ID House keys Wallet Phone Is it just pockets? How do they not constantly lose stuff if it’s just in their pockets? I carry a handbag for just this plus a checkbook, pen and a lipstick. |
| Pockets. Pockets are generally deep so stuff doesn't fall out. I only carry a bag if I'm going to be out for awhile or my clothes don't have pockets. |
| Modern men carry a murse. |
| Mens clothing actually has pockets... so yeah. Pockets. |
| My son's use a waist pack crossbody. It's for their phone, wallet, ear buds. Sometimes they even carry my card holder for me because I stopped using a handbag years ago. |

Since the other thread seems gone, I'll post my comments again here:
I (man) carry stuff in my pocket. When I get home that stuff has a designated place to go, where I put it, and then take it out again when I leave. I'm not sure how I'd lose something in my pockets, though. It stays with me until my pants come off or I take it out. |
| Get a sling bag from The Row |
For a teenage boy? Are you crazy ? |

In the last five years I have carried a purse exactly once because I needed to carry both my work and personal phone. It was at a conference and I was constantly leaving my purse after I set it down.
What a pain! I make sure everything I wear has pockets and wish women's pockets were as generous as men's. Very occasionally I buy a skirt or dress without pockets and have the seamstress at the dry cleaners put them in. |
| pockets. A backpack if needed. Girlfriend's and wife's purse when they get older |
This is genius! I havent carried a purse in a long time either. Too fussy. Just give me pockets. |
| BELTPACK |
I have tried to wear dresses with pockets and put my phone and wallet in my pockets. It weighs down the dress and makes it hard to wear. Not an issue if you're wearing pants that are tight at the waistband. My husband just uses a wallet clip instead of a wallet and puts keys, wallet clip and phone in his pockets. If we're sight seeing, he has a small black backpack he uses to carry water and food. I've seen a lot of teenaged boys with waist band straps that are under their shirts. Boys don't have belt loops on a lot of their athletic pants and athletic pants can't bear the weight of a phoen. |
| Slim wallet that attaches to back of phone and get a keyless entry into the house. |
|
Get a phone case with a small wallet. ID goes bank card some cash go in there. Apple Pay and Apple Wallet make it so you don’t really need to carry much.
Then he just needs to carry phone and key. |
