looking for a school with 4k students min. 10-15k would be fine.
liked the vibe and academic offerings at Davidson the most, but now it's Junior year and I feel like we're getting short on time to see things. high stats student. reaches will be t10 schools. merit would be great . |
| Wake, Washington & Lee, Richmond? I mean nothing is going to compare to Davidson because part of the charm is how small it is. |
| Emory in some ways. |
| Dartmouth. |
Agree with this, but Wake and Richmond don’t give out much merit, they don’t need to. W&L has a good number of merit scholarships. |
| Wake Forest is the first school that comes to mind. But they are not known for giving merit money. |
| Our DD has been admitted to Davidson. It is a slam dunk for her in almost every way: academics, culture, campus, location. Only concern is the size. She is considering W&M as best large comp school for her -- 6500 undergraduates, liberal arts vibe, beautiful campus, warmer climate. |
| W&M, Tufts, Wake, WashU |
| Dartmouth; WashU; Colgate; Wake; Emory |
Richmond gives out a sperm load of merit if you have top stats. |
According to its cds, about 10 percent of class gets merit, that isn’t a lot. |
| Dartmouth, maybe WashU |
That’s so gross. |
|
Middlebury College has about 2,800 undergraduates compared to Davidson College's 1,980 students.
Dartmouth College. |

Richmond is too small for this request -- less than 4,000 students, including undergrad and grad, per their website. Same with Washington & Lee.
I think Duke would be ideal, although they offer very limited merit aid. Emory might be a bit easier on the aid side. |
