Jealousy. Kristen's ground breaking actions and boundary pushing scares some. Including her latest A list movie (critically acclaimed.)

This is a joke, right?

Kristen's mother is in the business. In addition, Kristen - very publicly - f@#$cked a director to ensure she got a certain role.

She is unattractive. She cannot act. And she uses her body and sexual favors in return for things.

Film CATERING business. Hardly influential.
You've lost the plot completely. Go take a few Xanax.

No, her mom is a screenwriter and a director and her dad is a tv producer.

Why lie about stuff that is so easily disproven? This isn’t the 1950s. It’s easy to confirm things with basic internet searches.

Catering business, lol. Even if that were true, she’d still have a TON of connections. There’s no other way that anyone that unattractive and untalented would have the main role in a major movie franchise. Stop with the PR. It won’t affect our opinions. We have eyes.

NP and I don’t care about her or her movies, but I think she is extremely attractive. I found her mesmerizing in the Twilight movies. Agree she can’t act, though.

I find her extremely unattractive. She’s too angular and masculine and her voice is ugly and her body is so bony. I cannot believe she made it to the big screen, even with her connection. Dakota Johnson as a comparison is much, much prettier.

Maybe you should ask yourself why you think that one only deserves self confidence if they happen to meet your definitions of goodness?

Kristen Stewart has mad a lot of money off of her supposed lack of personality, appeal, and talent. She likely has a much more comfortable life than you and could not care less about what you think. I don't know much about her tbh and I haven't seen many of her movies (very few actually) but the audacity of feeling like you are entitled to walk up to another person and tell them they do not deserve to have confidence is really kind of shocking.

No what’s shocking is someone being upset over the criticism of an untalented, extremely LUCKY actress, who is clearly seeking publicity.

She looks awful and can’t act. I wouldn’t say about a normal, PRIVATE person, but when you blast videos of yourself in an attempt to sway the public to go watch your crappy acting, all bets are off.

If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

NP. Your little takedown? Was that supposed to be “the heat?” Aww. Bless your heart.

No, the “Heat” is people not seeing her movies. It’s already happening and is bound to get worse. She ruins every film she is part of with her bad acting. We’ve figured that out, so if a casting agent is going to disrespect us, the audience, by casting her, we won’t go to the film.

Hollywood types don’t seem to get it. We’re sick of you casting your lame, untalented kids. We’re sick of them writing the scripts. Hire top people, not your friends’ children. Stop or cannibalise the industry completely. The audience are fine with you and your nepotistic crap.

Sure. That’s why her latest film gets an 85% positivity rate among viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. 93% among critics. But sure, no one likes her films.

First off, fewer people are seeing films than before and Hollywood is really struggling. Practically no one can get financing anymore. Secondly, people might like a film that has Kristen Stewart, but it’s despite of her. For god’s sake: SHE CANNOT ACT!!!!!!!!

She has as many paparazzi as Kidman. Also people screaming her name, just while walking to her car...She's A list. Not to mention she's a household name.

I don't understand how anyone could possibly feel this strongly about a woman who has mostly been in indie movies for the last decade. WTF is she doing to you? You seem livid at her very existence. And that, to me, frankly, screams some type of prejudice. A woman who clearly doesn't give a flying eff about what people think about her? A lesbian? A woman who went through a public scandal and had the audacity to not be forced into a basement with a scarlet A? Are you a Robert Pattinson fan? Because honestly the vitriol in this thread for a fairly under the radar actress is baffling. This is too much emotion to have about someone you don't know.

Seems like the appearance of arrogance and the possible self-indulgence on her part, might upset people.

Let’s turn to someone with more knowledge and credibility than you. From Manohla Dargis, one of the NYT film critics, on Stewart’s acting skills:

“Watching Kristen Stewart is always an adventure. A performer who makes good movies better and dreary movies tolerable, she has a restlessness that has made her one of the more interesting attractions in American film. She has a gift for making a character’s inner life transparently readable, and while she can be subtle and withholding, it is her fascinatingly unquiet presence that draws you in, an itchy intensity that can keep her (and you) on edge. Pauline Kael wrote that Jane Fonda’s “motor runs a little fast” — so does Stewart’s.”

I’m a fan of Indy movies and she’s in a lot of good ones. She’s a talented actress.

I don’t like most of her Chanel outfits. They seem unflattering. I’m guessing people in Europe or (what countries is Chanel targeting??) find her stylish or attractive. Chanel are no dummies. They also dress Margaret Qually a lot, another kind of quirky looking (though less quirky than Kristen) actress. Margaret is a fantastic actress - see Maid. So…l think Chanel has great taste in actresses, even though l don’t like how they dress Kristen.

This was a pure PR relationship, they were never together. It was all marketing for those shitty films.

+1, she’s clearly a full time player for the other team and can’t act interested in men, even when she really, really wants to.

Are you being homophobic?

No. I’m just saying it’s clear that Kristen isn’t interested in men and that her “relationship” with RP was a PR stunt. If anyone is homophobic, it’s the people involved in that sham, not I.

You people are weird. She and RP were clearly physically really into each other. And then the person she cheated on him with was another guy. So clearly she’s bi. But why do you even care?

I don't care either way but I do feel like she'll ultimately end up with a cis guy.

She's married to a woman

I mean, to me that reads "seems like the fact that she likes herself upsets people". Because all she's really done is walk around new york during a press tour in provocative clothes and continue to act, both of which are things loads of other actors/actresses do without people seeming to like self implode in response.
