It's on Netflix now instead of Peacock (or along with Peacock?).
|
| I’m loving it! |
| Binged it. Funny! |
| I loved the first 2 seasons. The new one just isn’t as good. I’m bummed. |
How old are you? I’m wondering if you are too young to appreciate some of the references that I found funny. I kept laughing out loud that it prompted my husband to come into the room to see what I was watching. Much of the humor was lost on him, but I thought it was hilarious. FTR, I’m 49. |
| I'm loving it minus the anthem. Wickie is from Clarksville , MD. Her true lies were too much. |
| Can I start with this season and enjoy it? Or should I watch the first two seasons first? |
This is OP - def watch the first two seasons first, if you can! |

Thanks for the heads up. Good acting and nice to see women in their 40s like me.
The only sticking point for me was that they chose a woman in her 60s to play the one who looked older than her age. Why not go with someone who is actually the right age for the role but not stick thin? Obviously the actress is excellent, but as a lesbian in her 40s, it would have been nice to see someone more like myself on that screen in that role instead someone who is 62. Not sure why it bothers me but it does. |
| Can someone give me a brief synopsis? I can't get past the stupid name! |
A girl band very much past their heyday reunites in hopes of a comeback. Kind of a 30 rock meets Spice Girls meets Now and Then, but with funny songs. I am a fan! |
Four women who were in a girls group together two decades ago reunite when the fifth member of the group dies. I think it's really good. (It's a comedy - that isn't clear from the setup!) |
Ok - I'm the OP asking for the synopsis. I watched the first three episodes of season 1, and really love it (as I do with all of Tina Fey things). I even watched the credits to listen to the full songs (New York Lonely Boy was amazing). Thanks - glad I have so much good content to get through. The lack of comedies these days is really sad! |
| I watched it too, because of the thread. Very fun to have something targeted at middle aged moms! |
