Its been mentioned several times but I can't find it in my searches. You type in the property address. Anyone know? |

Google the town name with “land evidence” for other databases. |
This website is insane. How is this public information? |
Just checked my property and half the info is wrong. |
Mortgage information? It’s always been public information. It’s part of the land records. You can look things up going back hundreds of years. I’ve never heard of Property IQ, but anyone can create a login for the Maryland Land Records website and look up information: https://mdlandrec.net/main/ |
I just snooped on all my neighbors, boss and coworkers. |
The website doesn’t indicate when mortgages are paid off, which is important info too. |
You can ask for the information to be taken down. I did this with mine. |
It’s property records. They have always been public and your county offices has always had them available to anyone willing to pay a fee. That’s how realtors figure out who to send targeted advertising to, among other things. |
It’s probably dated incorrectly but not totally wrong. I found records of a man committing title fraud against my neighbor on this site. This person is elderly and the title fraud occurred decades ago in the 1980s. Luckily she is still able to live in the home but when she dies I have no idea how the judge will sort it out. The person who committed the title fraud is dead, thankfully, so hopefully it will be ignored. My neighbor doesn’t seem concerned so it will probably be ok. |
Mine doesn't have any accurate information whatsoever, nothing about our home purchase 14 years ago, and lists some random person as taking out a deed of trust 3 years ago? |
Homes.com also offers this info. it's accurate for our property.

Ugh. I just found a mortgage on my property from 2014 that is in someone else's name! We bought the house in 2009. How accurate is this information? |
