I've seen 2 packs of quiche in the refrigerator section - La Terra Fina brand. They're made out of egg whites so I've been hesitant as while I like healthy options, I'd want something more decadent and typical to serve guests for brunch. Has anyone had it? |
Do not serve people frozen Costco food. That is mean. |
We like it, but I don't know if it's "decadent." |
It’s not decadent op, it’s something I keep in freezer for easy lunch or breakfast options. I like it, it’s not bad, it’s pretty good actually (for a frozen quiche), but decadent it definitely is not. |
I havent tried this one, but you can always google some ways to jazz it up. Add some cheese on top, serve with a nice french salad w/ a bacony vinaigrette. |
It’s decent for an everyday meal, but not decadent like PP said. |
Quiche is easy enough to make. Like PP said, don't serve guests frozen Costco food. |
Wegman's has good quiche. |
I love that PPs are complaining about serving frozen food when OP specifically referenced something in the refrigerated section.
OP, I've had them and they're fine. As others have said, they're something I've had on hand to serve with a salad on nights I don't have the bandwidth for actual cooking. |
Frozen, refrigerated, doesn’t matter. Pre made Costco crap is what it is |
+1 Costco superfan here, and don't buy the quiche thinking it's a special treat. It's a great thing to have on hand if you're having a bunch of people over for brunch to add some options and heft to the table, but it's not decadent and I really wish you didn't have to buy the broccoli one to get the spinach & artichoke. |
So don’t eat it. OP’s not inviting you anyway . |
I actually really like that quiche! Have had it many times, my SIL usually gets it for brunch when having people over. I wouldn’t describe it as decadent though. |
I love the mini quiche from Costco frozen section. But it is not decadent.
Jazz it up with a homemade topping if you want...but still not decadent. Ehh...maybe it is decadent for a starving student, starving artist or people living in cardboard boxes? |
This. They aren’t anything special, but they pass for dinner. |
