Why is FCPS such screwups?

Schools are OPENED today for activities, no? Yet nobody has unlocked Sandburg Middle this morning. Just more useless bureaucrats who can’t do simple jobs.

OMG, dial your entitled-self back a few feet. Maybe the custodian who is supposed to be there got into a car accident. Or is sick. Or accidentally overslept.

This happens quite frequently at various FCPS schools. I empathize. It’s apparently very difficult to show up somewhere on time and unlock a door.

It’s not Security that opens the schools. A custodian does it. Security has access to the principal and other administrators that could get in contact with the custodians.

Hi, I’m the custodian for Sandburg middle who was assigned to open the doors this morning. Thanks for posting here, I completely forgot. Will be there soon, just gonna stop for coffee first.

This is the custodial supervisor. Apologies for the inconvenience. We need to increase pay to $60/hour to attract people who can show up somewhere and unlock a door. Plus signing bonus. #inflation.

+1. Don't custodians make $13 per hour before taxes? I'd rather work at McDonalds where you at least get free food and can boot out rude customers.
