If Princess Diana was part of this current generation this is what she would look like:

He changed her nose and lips so it’s hard to say this is what she’d look like.

This. What is the point, if you're actually changing her features rather than just her styling?

Yeah I think it's weird (and sad) that the assumption is that if Princess Diana were young today, she'd have gotten major procedures done to alter the way her face looks. She wasn't an actress or model. Today's royals don't all get plastic surgery. Beatrice and Eugenie, for instance, are pretty normal looking. I'm sure some of them get work done but it's not a given, and Diana was so beautiful and dynamic as she was that I think the suggestion that she would've had procedures done to make her face more Instagram-friendly is really depressing.

That is the whole point. Nowadays plastic surgery is EVERYWHERE.

I want to believe you're right but she had insecurities (eating issues, etc...)

Interesting photo editing but the easier way to analyze this is to look at pictures of Diana's niece, Lady Kitty Spencer.

Diana's feathered hairdo is iconic. It's likely today she would have long straight hair like Kate Middleton, but not improbable that she would have come up with a unique "twist" (and yes, that's a pun).

It is so strange to compare Diana's normal nose and lips to Kitty's rhinoplasty nose and lips. Diana looks very pretty and kitty looks plastic and strange.

Kitty Spencer resembles her mother (Lord Spencer's first wife).

If she were alive she would be in her 50s or 60s, and part of an existing, so yes, a current generation. Early Gen X/Late Boomers are non ancestral.
So, no, she would not look like a young millenial, as the Instagram post implies.

There are many other edits showing Diana as an older woman. Google "Diana at 50" to see them.

The point is what she would look like as a young style icon today.

I'm surprised that long, straight hair (which to me reads young as well as very "'Brady Bunch" or "1970s") has remained such a durable trend recently.
