Do Your Teenage Boys Still Wear Pajamas?

Anonymous
Do your teenage boys still wear pajamas to bed? If so, how old are they? If not, what age did they stop? And what do they wear instead? I usually buy pjs for all our kids each year, but DH seems to think that our son (14 yo) is getting too old and it’s a waste of money, and our son hasn't asked for any new ones this year.

With the trend of WFH, most teenagers probably think pajamas are work attire.

When entering high school my sons asked for soft pajama pants - I got them thin flannels.

Sort of? Mine wear sweatpants/athletic pants or shorts- sometimes pajamas pants. Usually paired with an old T-shirt.

Mine stopped at maybe age six. Tshirts and athletic shorts.

Mine wears underwear to bed. Showers when he wakes up so no lounging around. If he does need to lounge around on a weekend or something he has flannel pants and puts on a sweatshirt or t shirt.

Started this about 12.

OMG ask you kid. I’m sure he can figure out what to wear to bed—he’s going to be in high school.

Pajama pants, yes. But wouldn't bother with tops. Most teenage boys wear tank tops, t-shirts or go shirtless.

I wish I could get my teens to change into something different to wear to bed. But they refuse.

My 13 year old wears flannel pants no shirt. Has for the past 4 years or so.

My 10 year old wears undies only and has since he was about 7.

I don't think that many teen boys wear pajamas. I think boxers and t-shirt will do just fine.
