Anyone else buy a Tesla right below prices dropped?

| Anyone else buy a Tesla in December only to have the price drop inside of a month? I googled if there is any bone Tesla is throwing (none). While I like the car itself, I’m not sure that I would buy another Tesla given that the company has no customer service (impossible to talk to anyone if you have an issue or question) and they clearly do not care about making nice with their customers. Given that the value of my car dropped $14,000 in less than one month, I am so turned off that it’s crickets from the company acknowledging that they screwed their customers over. They obviously knew that they were dropping the price when I bought my car — never have I experienced buying something so expensive and having the price cut by that much. Honestly if they offered me something, like a credit to use at a Tesla power station, etc. I would not as annoyed. |

You already have an issue?
You bought it to get the tax credit, right? And now you are pissed the price got dropped? If so, you greedy, Who cares what the price of your car is that you are driving? how does it make any difference to the ride? If this was expensive, you had no business buying it. I won't buy the car but own a lot of stock, so thank you. |

| Won’t be getting the tax credit. Did it for convenience to not have to go to the gas station so often. Never cared about the price of the car that I’m driving but I’m pissed at the company for handling it this way. Terrible customer service but actually a very nice car. And yes since Tesla is in the mix for many index funds, I wish success for Tesla for all us with a 401K, etc, but this just goes to show you how Elon only cares about himself. |

you understand that stock prices are party based on profit, and if they gave freebies to everyone like the way you want, that would hit their bottom line, which would impact their stock prices? Tesla customer service sucks. Did you know that going into it? |

| I agree with you OP. A porsche or a Benz would never pull a move like this. Tesla knew very well that they were screwing customers of the last 1 year over with this move and did it anyway. Not blaming you for this, but did you look at other cars at all. We bought a EV in dec and the Tesla seemed overvalued compared to the other options out there. Nevertheless. it was a d*ck move by them and it'll make me pause buying a vehicle from them. |

| Even ICE cars have been grossly overpriced. My Tesla Y lease ends next month and they’ve been harassing me to get a new one. I refuse to pay over MSRP for any car, EV or ICE. Prices have come down a bit but not enough for me to make the move. I will wait a little while longer to see what prices do. I mean even the Chevy Bolt is selling above MSRP. |
