| Does this occur in anyone else’s social media orbit? “Cool moms” posting photos of their swimmer daughters which are frankly lewd. It’s not like they’re posting photos of the sport, it’s photos technically at a swim event, but they’re highlighting their daughters’ butts. I know teens have Snapchat, TikTok, and fake Instagrams to post stuff for their own friends but why are parents posting this inappropriate material on their public Facebook page? |

I am a swim mom and know lots of swim moms, this is something that I have not seen.
|
| Kind of dovetails on so many moms letting their daughters dress like 20-something trollops for homecoming. |
| Are you sure they're intending to "highlight their daughters’ butts"? I grew up a skater and a dancer and I've consequently always been kind of whatever about skintight clothing/near-nudity because I spent so much time in it in a very non-sexy environment where it stopped being titillating really quickly. |
My guess is that where OP is going. |
Why else are there so many photos from the rear and side? It’s pretty obvious what the photos are focused on. |
|
OMG the morality police
Ladies stop who made you judge and jury. I would hate to be your kids. Shame on you for shaming and judging others. |
|
Who knows, OP? It's probably a little of both: pride in their children's looks and desensitization to nudity.
So glad I'm not on social media. |
| It is against USA swimming rules to take photos (even to have your phone out) behind a starting block. |
Same. In fact USA swimming prohibits shows of people from behind dive blocks. Team? |
+1 I am a long time swim mom and do not see moms posting butts at all! |
+2. I smell a troll here. There have also been no PVS meets yet this season, and parents aren’t on the deck at practice snapping photos. Troll fail. |
Nobody said it was dive block photos. I mean photos around a pool literally focused on butts, almost like Kardashians. |
Again, what swim event is there where parents are on deck shooting photos of swimmers posing like the Kardashians by the pool You realize how ridiculous this sounds to any of us whose daughters are competitive swimmers, right?
|
| Another swim mom - don't see it either - usually bragging about times/scores. |
