Help Support DC Urban Moms and Dads

In lieu of intrusive advertising methods such as video ads, several users urged us to accept contributions. This is how you contribute if you so desire.

Over the past year, revenue from display advertising which is the only source of revenue supporting DC Urban Moms and Dads has decreased significantly. In an effort to make up for the lost revenue, we have experimented with alternate methods of advertising such as "sticky" ads and video ads. These types of advertising have negatively impacted the user experience and caused considerable opposition from DCUM users. Several users offered to make voluntary contributions to help make up for lost revenue if we removed the intrusive ads. To that end, we are providing these means of contributing to DCUM. To be clear, such contributions are completely voluntary. All that we can offer in return for contributions is to continue to do our best to provide an experience that users enjoy.
