Kushner, Manafort and Don Jr. met with a Russian lawyer with Kremlin ties during the campaign

Lynch let the lawyer into the country, with an expired visa. Furthermore the Russian lawyer is linked to the Pissgate scandal.

This is fishy.

Everyone is linked to the Pissgate scandal. Please.

Now, if the lawyer was allowed into the country for a particular reason, and she worked outside of that authorization, does that make DJT Jr's "I love it" okay somehow? No, it doesn't.

It is okay legally, he broke no laws.

Furthermore it's a crime to let someone in without a visa. The....not long afterwards she meets with Bill on the tarmac to talk about golf and stuff?

Not likely.

Umm, okay. I guess you're using your own set of laws to determine what is and isn't legal or criminal.

Name the laws or regulations broken please.

The lawyer received a special exemption to represent her Russian mob clients in a large-scale case in NYC which, on Don Sr's watch and following the firing of Preet Bahara of SDNY, settled for a mere fraction of the amount it was intended to collect.

It is fishy, but not for the reasons you think.

Absolutely nothing about this lawyer actually matters, which is what 3/4s of you deniers are missing -- what matters is that according to what Don Jr knew of her, she worked on behalf of the Russian government and supported their efforts to help Trump win, by offering to provide HRC dirt to him. That, at a minimum, is conspiracy.

Would Don Jr really go to jail for his father? Will he admit that his father was aware if he is at risk? My guess is that none of this will go anywhere even if there is something to it all. Just wondering what would happen if the son had to make a choice.

Should we ban Russians from entering the country to prevent Trump family members from taking meetings with them?

I don't think he'd ever admit that his father was aware, but it's hard to say. He believes he did nothing wrong (heck many others believe that too) so unless and until he is in an FBI interrogation room, he won't make that choice. If and when he is in that situation? Hard to say. For some reason I don't think he would admit his father was aware (if he was).

It would be a big blow to the Trump brand to have the patriarch impeached/imprisoned. But the Trumps already know that Trump's only loyalty is to himself, not to his family. So if DJT Jr had an opportunity to save himself by implicating his father, why wouldn't he take it?

Actually he is in violation of some campaign finance laws, but really, when you are getting to the point of defending this, you have sold out the Republic. So it really isn't worth arguing about. The GOP clearly wants to turn the US into a White, Christian Autocracy with the Trump family as our monarchy.

Just embrace it.

The lawyer met with Rep. Rohbacher after meeting with the Trumps (see The Hill and http://www.palmerreport.com/politics/meeting-donald-trump-jr-kremlin-lawyer-attended-dinner-republican-congressman/3830/)

So yes, they discussed Sanctions. What were Trump and Rohrbacher offering in exchange for lifting sanctions?

Ask Kevin McCarthy. He might know, and he might tell you.

That recording with Ryan - they all knew. McConnell knew and provided interference on Obama to prevent the public from knowing.

The GOP leadership has basically sold out our country.

That will be determined.

But it was a scummy, anti-American thing to do. Anyone of decency would say "I love this country more than I hate my opponent" when offered dirt on the opponent dug up by another nation that is trying to influence an election, especially one like Russia.

The Trumps have no decency, no moral compass. You cannot deny that in light of this story.
