Is your torso wider after the baby?

Yup, torso so much bigger after 1 baby. I even had a tummy tuck and weigh less than my pre baby weight but 6 years later, none of my old formal zip up dresses fit anymore. And I feel like my torso keeps expanding, even as I have lost more weight over the last few years.

Yes, torso is wider but so are my boobs at the same weight as pre-baby. Baby is turning 10 I went from a 34B to a 36C and wear size 6 skirts/pants from a size 4 but don't mind.

My rib cage is smaller. My pelvis maybe slightly wider? Not much though. I did wear a compression garment for a few weeks after to assist as the joints tightened back up.

If by wider you mean I am fatter and can't lose the weight, yes.

I haven't noticed a difference. Maybe due to my height (5'11") there already was plenty of room?

Interestingly enough, no. I still have about 5 lbs to lose to get back to pre-baby weight (1st baby is 3.5 and 2nd is 18 months)- my skin is very stretched which sucks big time because it looks like flab all around my torso but my rib cage and stuff went back

My boobs however are bigger and I haven't breast fed in over a year. I think its mostly a lot of extra skin now that I have to basically fold up into a bra but I want it GONE

I should say, I'm 5'10" and I think that like others, that might help. I didn't have to wear different bras in pregnancy at all.
