Horrifying is an appropriate word. My kid played on a sports team with one of his kids but we are not close to the family. I can't imagine what those kids are going through. I think about them often, its terrible.

Just FYI for him to be on the SafeSport list on USA swimming, someone actively reported him from the swim world. It’s not like USA Swimming knew he was being prosecuted and put him on the list- it doesn’t work that way. So AAC might say they knew nothing but as is often with these cases, people probably did know but never did anything, like with Rick Curle at NCap. Plenty people knew what was going on and looked the other way for years.

Law enforcement alerted them. That’s how it works.

Not always. Sometimes. There must be a victim willing to pursue charges for this to happen.

Because you have to a submit a complaint to USA swimming and safesport- those organizations do not go around looking for people being indicted. It doesn’t work in that direction. I am wondering why this is so difficult to understand

Ah, got it. So you don’t actually know what happened. Is it difficult to understand someone else might?

He plead guilty instead of going to trial. " faces a mandatory minimum term of 15 years in prison and a maximum penalty of life in prison."
