Jen Hatmaker

Tina is 2-3 people to Jen’s right in the first video - she has her hair fully up, in an ice blue sheath dress. She and Jen both looked very appropriate and lovely.

Tina shared very nice photos from the wedding. None of the same ones Jen did - there was one of a photobooth type setup with a full length mirror, sort of for guests to do the “over the shoulder first look” kind of thing. Very sweet and unusual … I have never seen it at a wedding before.

I did not see TM in any of Jen’s photos?

Brandon and Tyler are both insecure about baldness like many men are. That’s why you never see them without their head covers. This is why snark subs get a bad rep. The bullying are just ridiculous at a certain point, drowning out legitimate critiques.

The groomsmen didn’t wear a tie or jeans and yet somehow a black bandana is scandalous?!

Jenny’s yellow dress and cowboy boots looked liked she was ready to go shopping at an outlet mall and have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.

Jen’s dress was great but the hair was not. Tina was the only one who really looked put together like she was going to a wedding.

Clothes don’t matter though. It’s the love and support of families coming together.

As a 40+ year Texas resident - Most wedding I have attended and the one I planned for my daughter were not men in Jeans. The stereotyping is funny. A lot depends on location. More rural, more likely jeans. Outdoors same. It is not considered hot here yet. I am in south texas - in the 50’s this morning with high of 70.

Same. And your exception describes this wedding. They live in Buda and he has a degree in ranch management. Buda may be considered a “suburb” vs a “real” small Texas town (eg Lufkin) but he’s a hunter, they wear boots and hats as their way of dress, etc so the wedding fit both the bride and groom.

A bandana is equivalent of wearing a baseball cap to the wedding. If Tyler wears to cover his l bald spots, it’s is just tacky-take it off.

Texan here too. Jeans are common for outdoor weddings. The bride and groom set the tone for the wedding party's dress. I've been to outdoor weddings in Texas, even in fairly rural areas, where everyone's in formal attire - so this is not necessarily typical. But when the wedding party is casual, it's weird for anyone else to outdo them with suits or tuxes. Personally, I prefer dress up. There are so few occasions in life when one dresses up, and I think a wedding should be one of them. Make an effort.

Answer: None. They do not. Watch it or much less make internet commentary about it. Not that we had any doubts!

What hole have some of you crawled out of? Your sexual orientation now determines what TV you can watch?

There’s no way Big Sass isn’t just trolling Sis at this point, right?
He just spent all weekend with her and her family at a major life event. His only social media contribution was, “WOW. Did you guys watch tv this weekend?! It was DOPE.”

Like his parents, Gavin got married quickly, after one year of dating. No judgement, just interesting to see culture at work.

Brandon posted a family picture with Jen, Tina and Tina’s son. No Tyler. Remy was wearing one of Jen’s old dresses. Sydney and Shauna seemed to have worn the same black jumper outfit.

Interesting that Jen’s video of Gavin and Danielle dancing to Love Story captures Tina square in the middle background dancing along with Brandon’s sister and Shauna.

I don’t think Jen is threatened by Tina as so many of you claim. And I don’t think Tyler is really part of the family either despite he and Jen being each other’s soulmates for the last two years.
