Biden will win Virginia, but if it takes a while for the state to be called, or if his margins are narrower than in 2020, it spells trouble in swing states. This is what happened to Clinton in 2016.

I really hate the electoral college. We’re all held hostage by “swing voters” in purple states. I suspect they’ll ultimately hand it to Trump even if Biden wins the popular vote by several percentage points (which I think is likely).

Although abortion ballot initiatives may be a wild card though.

There's a very small chance of it being 269-269 in a few scenarios. Most likely is if he gets all the electoral votes in Nebraska (which is not very likely, but still theoretically possible).

I think normal people are pretty horrified by both MAGA and campus idiots, and all of that is clearly Russian disinformation at play. So as long as the intelligent, non-Jihadists or MAGA adults vote, Biden will win.

The only way no one gets to 270 is if there's another 3rd party who enters the race this summer and can win at least one state.

Ross Perot didn't get any electoral college votes in 1992 and he ran the most successful & popular 3rd party campaign in modern US history.

It's really hard to win one state in the POTUS General Election. And right now I don't see RFK Jr getting even one EC vote.

Most normie low-info Americans dislike Trump and his chaos; were horrified by the October 7 terror attacks; think Israel has a right to go after Hamas but probably are not too attuned to the civilian suffering; see the campus protests as just something that young privileged American college students do.

Remember, there was so much civilian suffering in the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, under ISIS.....and it really did not move the average low-info normie American to care all that much or change their voting habits. Obama was elected because Bush screwed up in Iraq so badly and then blew-up the economy.

Normie low-info Americans are starting to memory-hole the pandemic, so that leaves a good portion of them with fuzzy positive vibes about the first couple years of the Trump admin on the economic front. Will see how it all shakes out.

But, right now? Biden has the median voter IMHO. Trump is not expanding his base.

Also did you know it'll be a new Congress by then? So probably not losing by 4 votes. I mean who knows what the future brings, but it's unlikely the next Congress is exactly the same as thing Congress.
