Soooo...I, too, was assuming they must be in a throuple, because how else could this possibly work, but in this video from the wedding, he is only chatting with, looking at, and kissing Abby. Same with other pictures I've seen. Brittany's just awkwardly stuck there, along for the ride. It makes my heart ache a little.

They have nothing to compare to. To them sharing a body is a completely normal thing and all they have ever known. They have only had one body through every developmental age and stage so privacy when it comes to your body doesn't exist and never has for them. They share a lower body so anything in their life that has involved genitals or reproductive organs or urinating / defecating / menstruation is something that has always been a shared experience.

And every relationship they have had - be it family, friend, romantic, sexual - has also been experienced together.

We can't possibly fathom what it would be like as it is so far removed from our own experiences but they have never known anything but this.

They seem like level headed women. I am sure they have had many a discussion and figuring out how to proceed through various experiences in life that only they have to deal with.

All the wedding and posts refer only to Abby. The mother speaks of her 'daughter-in-law'. There is A and J monogramming and items with their names on it in the decorations at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. There is only ever mention of Abby as being with Josh. And clearly all his attention and focus is on her. It would be very interesting to hear how Brittany makes this make sense to her and if she feels she has sacrificed her own happiness / options for Abby's. She must really like the guy as well to be willing to be tied to him for life too and to feel comfortable with the intimacy.

Chang and Eng Bunker married different women and had kids. Of course it's not exactly the same but cojoined twins worked it out over a 100 years ago

I think these two married sisters. They also were only conjoined near the waist and had completely separate systems and man bits.

There is another set of similar twins - Carmen and Lupita Andrade. They are younger and more on social media and share their day to day lives. They share their fights and some of the hard parts and in their case they each see themselves very much as individuals who are quite different from each other. They always say "I" or " my sister and I" or " my sister".

Carmen has a boyfriend that she has been dating for a couple years. She says she is glad her sister ended up getting along with her boyfriend as they spend a lot of time together. Lupita says she is asexual. They are studying different things at college but both to do with animals / vet related.
