| My club—FPYC—will be holding summer pickup soccer every Friday (6-7:30p) and Sunday (2-4p) at Stafford Drive Park (near Fairfax High School). All ages welcome. Starts this Friday and runs to mid-August. Join us! |

That sounds awesome. In addition to all ages being welcome, are random, non-FPYC players welcome? DS hasn't been registered in an FPYC soccer program for two years but would love to participate. TIA |

So for tonight there is no age range, can any age show up? I have a 6 year old and do not want to get them plowed over by a 12 year old! |

I think it’s highschool tonight. So your 6 year old will be playing highschool kids! The age range is the first line. Checkout the weekends. |

Summer soccer action for kids -- “Friday Night Lights” Drop-In Soccer -- At Jelleff on Fridays – 2 sessions: 6 to 7:15pm (for players in in grades 1-5) and 7:15 to 8:30pm (for players in grades 6 and up). Open to all players (not just Stoddert players; bring your friends!).
July 6 thru August 17 (7 sessions). Bring a ball, some water, and wear shinguards and be ready to play. This is a free service courtesy of DC Stoddert Soccer! |

Yes, FPYC pickup has always been open to all....no matter age nor club. Kids get sorted once they show so that you don't have 6-year-olds playing against 13-year-olds. But it's very hands-off. |

| We have a small pickup game in Rockville at Wood MS Sunday afternoons (2:30). Ages 5-11 or so (but all ages are welcome). If interested, email thepickupkids@gmail.com to be added to the list. We email out on Fridays to get a sense as to whether we have numbers for the Sunday game or not. |

| SCAA (South County) has kick arounds on Wed. nights from 5:30-7pm or so at South County Middle School. Younger ages - up to about u14 seem to be there. The email I received said to bring a friend so it seems to be open to non-club members from what I could tell. |
