Wait listed in the high 20's... Any change of getting in for Kindergarten?
Any current parents wanting to share any experiences?

Last year we got off the waitlist with a number even higher than that! (I don't remember exactly what it was, though.) We really liked it but decided to stay at our IB school. (We didn't get off the waitlist until early Oct.)

Last year we were waitlisted for K at around #33 and got a spot the day before school started. Took the spot and have never looked back.

Is IT actively calling off their wait list? I read a post on a different thread where someone was told they wouldn't be making calls until July.

My number for K has dropped from 86 to 74 but unclear if that reflects any actual offers.

Its been probably 2 weeks so not sure if I can easily locate it. I feel like its was a general wait list movement topic if you want to do some digging. Sorry about that! There wasn't much more said from what I remember.

I was the poster from the other thread who made the July comment. I had called ITS to ask about the waitlist, and the person that answered said there probably wouldn't be significant movement until July.

That said, our PK3 number has gone from 15 to 11 so it is moving a little.

We have a very, very low wait list number for K, and it still hasn't moved. Anticipating that our son will get in this summer.

Not expecting movement until July is not the same as them saying they won't be making any calls until July. The former could just be from their experience from previous years, the latter makes it seem like they are sitting on their hands when they have offers to be made. You're right. I left it vague because that phone call took place over a month ago and I don't remember the exact phrasing. I think it was that they wouldn't be making offers until July, but I don't want to mislead anyone due to my pregnancy brain/bad memory.

I just called and asked, and they said that they will not be making any WL offers until the current school year is over, and that the majority of their WL offers will be made in July.

So, any WL movement to date is not the result of offers being made.
