| I feel like I need manicure weekly. Today is Friday and my nails all chipped, and liking nasty. How often do you have manicure to look presentable? |
|
Can you do buff or something similarly nude?
I would love to have more presentable looking nails, but can’t imagine actually being able to have colorpolished or long nails. I wear contact lenses daily, play an instrument, cook dinner, rifle through my purse ...and even with short nails are constantly breaking and ripping them. How do you DO anything with manicured nails? |
I keep them short and paint them light pink color. I also use gloves to wash anything, etc. I don't cook dinners, my DH does. OP |
Have u tried gel? |
| Maybe four/five times a year. |
| Weekly sounds about right, unless you get gel or shellac. |
| I do the sns dip and go once a month |
| Never. |
| I have oily nails and can't get polish to last more than 3 days. It's sad, but I just don't do manicures then unless it's a special occasion. |
| I would start with the longer-lasting regular polishes like Essie Gel Couture and OPI Infinite Shine. Gel and removal can damage some nails and ruined mine. I also have had success with the Incoco strips in plain colors, which last a full two weeks for me. |
| I do a weekly polish change for 10 dollars. If I didn't have kids and had more time would do it twice a week. |
| Every 10 days. I wear gloves to do everything at home. |
| My salon does NuGensis nail color. It is not a gel. It is regular nail polish. Stays looking great for two weeks and totally natural looking. Latest in nail color. |
| Isn’t it bad to have manicures so often? Do you PPs institute mani breaks during the year at all? |
+1 Only for special occasions. My nails grow incredibly fast and a manicure only looks fresh for 3-4 days, tops. No chance I'm spending the time/money to keep that up. |
