I give the Madison and Langley coaches credit for playing these games. Hopefully they will pay dividends later in the season.

I heard WestPo was the main organizer through a connection with a Broadneck coach so thanks for doing that. It was a good wake up call. Lots of work to do.

It was a great idea to have these games. You can take an easy path and pound your chest about how great you are, or you can play the best and know you will get better as individual players and as a team.

Any chance Yorktown beats The Heights later in the season?

Heights lost to Dematha by 2 and St Albans by 1. Definitely won’t be easy.

Heights could easily take care of Yorktown. Probably will.

Was wondering how that came about. Thanks for such a fun week of lacrosse. West Po players and parents are some of the nicest folks around.

Shouldn’t be close. Yorktown by 5 or more.

Yorktown has over 1,000 boys. Heights has 275. Heights will still win.

Is there a Yorktown poster that is posing questions about Patriot and The Heights so we keep them in the news? Jealous that they have not been mentioned in several posts?

Loss to Heights and win against Patriot. This is not the same Patriot team from a couple of years ago. Yorktown is a step down from Robo and Madison right now. Yes, we know you have an “amazing” attack with an up and coming freshman. That said throwing out a laugher against Centerville, you are averaging 6/7 goals a game vs. good and halfway decent teams.
